As you wander our aisles, you’ll discover small-batch maple syrups kissed by sugarmakers’ lore, stone-ware bowls spun by local potters, hand-woven scarves that carry the softest touch of mountain-grown wool, and an ever-rotating selection of seasonal specialties—from tart berry jams in summer to spiced chai mixes in winter. Every item is handpicked by our team of lifelong Vermonters, who know each maker’s backstory: from a millennial beekeeper harvesting honey in the Champlain Valley to a father-daughter duo crafting beeswax candles from their backyard hives.

But The Middlebury Shop is more than shelves and showcases—it’s a gathering place. Pull up a stool at our tasting counter for a sample of farmstead cheeses paired with local charcuterie, or join one of our weekend workshops where you can try your hand at block-printing Vermont postcards or dip dipped beeswax tapers.
